There are those that I would say are true SEO gurus. There are those who think they are.  Which side do I belong?  I don’t deny.  I don’t admit. I just make people think.

Okay, back to nofollow internal links topic. There has been two of “school of thoughts” related to this. The first one answers “yes” to the question above and the other one answers “no.” Yes because there are pages in your site that aren’t important like your contact us page (like your archive and tag pages). By dofollowing those links, you are giving away the link juice that your important pages (articles/posts) should have benefited from. But frankly, this this has already become an obsolete discussion. If you are still doing this practice of using nofollow attributes on internal links, you better start doing the otherwise.

Take the answer straight from Google. Matt Cutts said that you should not  use no follow on internal links to keep the flow of link juice within your site but external links should be nofollow. Here’s the video:
