Top Keywords With Low Competition

Top keywords with low competition anyone?

Top Keywords With Low Competition

I admit I’m one of those bloggers who’d rather blog for money than blog for better user search experience. I’d rather blog for adsense. If I could earn a big amount with just few clicks then why not? You wouldn’t disagree, would you?

Few months ago, I realized how tiring  my job was and decided to do SEO instead,  article marketing, make money online, niche blogging, etc. And the best way, I thought, was  to create websites that  target top paying adsense keywords with low competition. My colleague sent me list of high paying adsense keywords. But why are they top-paying or expensive? Let’s take the the case insurance keywords like “buy car insurance” or “auto insurance quotes.” They cost per click for these is at around $59. They expensive simply due to the competition in the insurance industry. And the competition is so fierce due to the money being made.

Top 20 Most Expensive Keywords According to Wordstream

How to Find Top Keywords With Low Competition

The most common mistake for those who are just new to SEO or are starting a new blog with the intention to get traffic or earn money is skipping keyword research. That was also my mistake and I learned from it.  Forget  about those top keywords that although high paying  are already almost diluted. I will teach how to find keywords with low competition but with high search volume–the higher the search volume the higher the chance of getting massive traffic to your site.

  • First go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and create an Adword account by clicking “Sign In”  on the upper left corner of the page. Nope, you don’t need to create a PPC campaign. Why I’m telling you to sign in is for you to be able to save your Google Keyword Tool settings and increase your search result limit from 100 to 800.
  • Type in your desired short-tail/one word keyword and hit enter. You shouldn’t be required to enter the captcha because you’re logged in. Don’t rejoice yet if you see high volume-low competition results. Change your match type (one common mistake again) from “Broad” to “Exact.” The match type  option usually appears after you’ve made a search. It is on the left corner of the page.
  • Now your keyword has been limited to exact matches. Click on “Global Monthly Searches” to rearrange the keyword ideas from the one with the highest to lowest volume. If you want to tank in your country, choose “Local Monthly Searches” instead. Oftentimes, the country is defaulted to United States. You can change it in the  Advanced Filter Options.
  • Choose the keywords with high volume but low competition. You may rearrange the keyword ideas from highest to lowest competition. You know what to click. Start ranking in your chosen keywords by writing relevant and unique articles.

How do I find top keywords with low competition but with decent cost per click?

Top Keywords With Low CompetitionJust click on the “Columns” button and check “Approximate CPC.” If you  don’t see this option, then you are not logged  in to Adwords. It’s the reason why I asked you to sign in earlier. You can sort the keyword ideas based on approximate CPC. Oftentimes, those that are expensive have very low volume and  high competition.  I wouldn’t suggest you chose those. Just chose those with  low competition your potential earning from Adsense can be multiplied by the amount of clicks anyway.

Good luck to  your journey in earning  from Adsense through top keywords with low competition.
